Circa 1927 Winchester Model 1906 Pump Action .22 S. L. OR LR. Rifle. The Model 1906 was introduced as an economical version of the Model 1890, and came with a 20” round barrel. This pump or slide action rifle was produced between 1906 and until 1932, and was the second in a progression of Winchester Pump action rifles that that evolved in this order: Model 1890, Model 1906, Model 62, Model 61 . During this period, slightly under 800,000 were completed. Every Winchester 1906 was produced in the takedown design and shot only .22 caliber Ammo of differing lengths - .22 short, .22 long, .22 LR, and .22WRF. Special order options include walnut stocks and nickel plating. There are basically three Models of the 1906 Winchester. The first model was the '.22 Short-only Model' with a plain straight-grip stock, a flat plain butt and plate, the forearm pump handle was smooth and had a serial number less than 113,000. The Second version was the Standard Model 1906, and differed by being able to shoot interchangeably short, long or long-rifle bullets, and by having a grooved forearm (slide handle) and numbered between 113,000-852,000. The third model of 1906 was a more deluxe variety, called the "Model 1906 Expert." This model differed by being made with upgrades like a pistol-grip stock and a fluted smooth pump grip. The 'Expert' version was produced only between 1918 to 1924 and had serial numbers between 535,540 and 649,951. The 'Expert' model had three differently finishes from the factory which were blued finished receiver, half-nickel or full nickel receiver, and could also have other special order features.   • This rifle is in overall good condition with signs of wear commensurate with age and use. The stock appears to have been replaced. Rifle retains approx. 70%+ of the original finish with areas that have patina. Please review the photos for details.

Any local Arizona Buyer of Post 1898 firearms MUST complete all necessary registration forms at Bradford's Auction Gallery. Local Buyers MUST have a Valid ARIZONA ID with Current Physical Address. If your Arizona ID does not reflect your current address you MUST provide us with a secondary form of ID that contains your correct address. Arizona Gun Dealers must have a signed copy of their Federal Firearms License in order to accept delivery of modern weapons. ANY DENIED BACKGROUND CHECK WILL RESULT IN A REFUND MINUS A 25% RESTOCKING FEE.

Shipping for Out-of-State Buyers must be done through our 3rd Party Shipper Westside Mail Center. All firearms Post 1898 must be shipped to a valid holder of a Federal Firearms License on ALL Modern Weapons. The full cost of shipping and packing will be at the winning bidders / buyers expense. It is your responsibility to provide Westside Mail Center with the FFL dealer of your choice and they are responsible for sending the 3rd party shipper a copy of their FFL information.
