Antique Winchester Deluxe Model 1873 Lever Action .38 WCF Rifle with Cody Letter. This Deluxe '73 sports a 24” octagon barrel with a full-length magazine tube. The Rocky Mountain German-silver blade front-sight is paired with an elevator-adjustable buckhorn rear-sight. There is also a Lyman rear peep sight that is mounted on the upper tang of this rifle. The barrel has the roll-stamped Winchester two-line address and the caliber marking on the top flat. The dust cover rides on rail that is integral to the frame. The upper tang shows the model number and the lower tang has the stamped serial number. The bottom of the shell-lifter has the stamped caliber marking as well. The forearm cap, frame, hammer, trigger and loading lever were color-case hardened. All other metal parts were blued including the crescent-shaped butt-plate that has the sliding trap-door for the cleaning rod which is present with this rifle. The forearm and pistol-grip stock are both checkered and show some very nice figuring throughout.   • Very good to fine: Original bluing on the receiver, barrel, magazine tube, butt-plate have retained 30%-40% color. The faint color-case hardened parts are more evident in protected areas. The barrel bore is semi-shiny with very good rifling. The high-grade Walnut stocks exhibit very good checkering with normal handling marks and small indentations. The action is solid and strong and functions perfectly. There does not appear to be any visibly replaced parts.

If your Arizona ID does not reflect your current address you MUST provide us with a secondary form of ID that contains your correct address. Arizona Gun Dealers must have a signed copy of their Federal Firearms License in order to accept delivery of modern weapons. ANY DENIED BACKGROUND CHECK WILL RESULT IN A REFUND MINUS A 25% RESTOCKING FEE.
